پیش از شروع رسمی اجلاس «صلح و امنیت جهانی» در کشور چین، معاون وزیر دفاع کشور عربستان سعودی با امیر دریادار سیاری رئیس ستاد و معاون هماهنگ کننده ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران دیدار کرد.
در این دیدار، دو طرف بر اجرایی شدن سند همکاری امضا شده در چین و ضرورت توسعه همکاری‌های نظامی دوجانبه و نیز ارتقاء همکاری و هماهنگی برای ارتقای امنیت منطقه‌ای تاکید کردند.
دریادار سیاری در این دیدار، حضور بیگانگان در منطقه را نه تنها مانع برقراری امنیت، بلکه برهم زننده امنیت و ثبات منطقه عنوان کرد.
